| 内容記述 | 本研究は精神病院で就業する看護者の資格と、性別についての実態を把握することを目的とした。資料を整理し、精神病院と一般病院の看護者について比較した。結果、(1)精神病院の就業看護者の特徴は、准看護師の比率が高く、過半数を占め、また男性看護者の比率が高く、約2割を占める。(2)男性看護師の増加率は精神病院よりも一般病院で著しい。以上から、精神病院は今後看護の質をどのように担保していくのか、精神病院での男性看護者の役割について提示していく必要性があると考えられた。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this research was to determine the qualification and gender of nurses who worked in mental hospitals. A comparison was made between nurses in mental hospitals and general hospitals. The findings are as follows: (1) Mental hospitals have more licensed practical nurses than registered nurses, and the percentage of male nurses (about 20%) is higher than at general hospitals. (2) The increase in the number of male nurses is greater in general hospitals than in mental hospitals. These findings suggest the need for further research on how mental hospitals will maintain the quality of nursing, and on the male nurses' role in mental hospitals. | |||||||||||
