| 内容記述 | 第一回日本チベット(蔵)医学研究会が平成19年5月26日に東京大学鉄門記念講堂にて開催された。代表は日本代替・相補・伝統医療連合会議理事長である渥美和彦氏で、私を含めて13名の発起人により発足しましたが、その多くは平成14年8月に西寧(中国青海省)で行われた日中蔵医学学術交流会の参加者が中心となっている。研究会の趣旨は伝統医学と現代医学の融合による新しい健康づくりということで、艾措千氏(Ai Cuoqian、現青海チベット医科大学学長)の基調講演にはじまり、シンポジウムも盛会裏に終わった。翌日には国際Healthy Agingシンポジウム-東洋の英知と西洋科学の調和-が企画され、開催された。シンポジウムにはアンドルー・ワイル氏を始めとして日本、韓国、中国、インド、チベットからそれぞれの伝統医学における第一人者が集まり、科学的な基盤にたった現代医学と経験に基づいた伝統医学が今後どのような形で融合され、さらに新しい健全な統合医療が作り上げられているかについて多くの情報交換がなされた。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The first meeting of Japanese and Tibetan medicine was held on May 26, 2007 at the Tetumon Memorial Hall of Tokyo University School. The president of this meeting, Atumi Kazuhiko and the organizers met together. The main theme of this meeting was the harmonization of oriental wisdom and western science for the prolongation of healthy life expectancy. In the beginning, a lecture about Tibetan medicine was given by Ai Cuoqian, president of Qinghai University of Tibetan Medicine. A symposium on new integrative medicine was successfully held after that. On the next day, the symposium to discuss the concept of harmonization and synergy of oriental wisdom and western science was organized. In the symposium, Professor Andrew Weil and doctors in traditional medicine from Korea, China, India, Tibet and Japan got together to share their knowledge. Modern western medicine is based upon science and is considered as statistical medicine. On the other hand the traditional or complementary medicine is based on experiences and is also individual medicine. So these different health care systems will be used to create a new integrative medicine. | |||||||||||
