| 内容記述 | 本研究は、看護学生が小児がんの子どもの家族をどのように捉え、どのような看護援助の方向性を導きだしているのかを明らかにすることを目的に行った。看護学生に対して自由回答式質問紙を配布し、得られたデータは質的に分析を行った。看護学生は、小児がんの子どもの家族を〔孤立しがち〕〔耐えがたい状況〕〔悲しみを抑えている〕〔子ども中心の生活〕〔なんでもしてあげたい〕〔一分一秒でも一緒にいたい〕と捉えていた。また、小児がんの子どもの家族への看護援助として、〔家族の身体的負担の軽減〕〔家族の日常生活の保障〕〔家族に自由な時間を過ごしてもらう〕〔精神的安定を図る〕〔家族の闘病意欲を支える〕〔家族間の思いの表出の調整〕〔同じ疾患の家族との交流を促す〕〔家族としての役割を果たせるように関わる〕〔子どもが笑顔になれるように関わる〕9つを捉えていた。看護学生は、小児がんの子どもの家族の身体的負担の軽減を図れるように日常生活を保障し、また、付き添っている母親だけでなく家族全員に対して精神的ケアが必要であると捉えていた。小児がんの子どもの家族が孤独な状況におかれていると推察し、家族同士の思いの表出や同じ疾患の家族との交流を促したり、闘病意欲を高めるような援助を行っていた。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to describe how a nursing student perceived the family of a child with cancer, and what sort of nursing care she felt necessary. We distributed an open-end questionnaire to a nursing student and analyzed the data qualitatively. The student observed six facts as characterizing the situation of the family of a child with cancer: "they tend to be isolated," "they are in an unbearable situation," "they restrain their sorrow," "they live a child-centered life," "they want to do anything for the child," "they want to be with the child as long as possible." The student also felt the need for her as a nurse, "to reduce the physical burden of the family," "to help the family live a normal daily life," "to help the family have some free time," "help the family remain mentally stable," "to help the family remain willing to support the child's battle with cancer," "to help with the family members' expression of feelings for one another," "to encourage the family to have exchanges with other families plagued with cancer," "to get involved to help the family play their roles as family members," "to get involved to bring a smile back to the child's face." The nursing student thought that she needed to help the family reduce their physical burden, to help them live a normal daily life, and to provide mental support for all the family members, including the mother who stayed and took care of the child. The student also felt that the family members were lonely, and therefore, provided assistance to the family so that they could express their feelings for one another, urged them to have exchanges with other families in a similar situation, and helped raise the family's willingness to support the child's battle with cancer. | |||||||||||||||||
