先に某事業会社の健診受診者を対象として尿中抗H pylori抗体を健診の一環として測定したが、今回経過観察を目的として同検査を再実施した。その結果H pylori感染率は8.58%と4年前の感染率44.76%に比して著明な減少を認めた。それは当初の健診結果を踏まえて積極的にH pylori除菌を推進した結果を示している。と同時に活動性胃・十二指腸潰瘍の発症も著明に抑制された。すなわち前回の胃・十二指腸潰瘍の現病歴がH pylori陽性者で11.60%、H pylori陰性者では5.60%だったのに対して今回の検討ではいずれも0%であった。また胃癌の発症についてもその機序が充分に解明されているわけではないが今後の発症抑制が期待される。 |

A sample of antibody to Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) in urine was measured and evaluated for its clinical usefulness for the second time during periodic health examination in factories. The study shows that the incidence of H pylori infection decreased by 8.58% this time compared with the time when a similar physical exam was given four years earlier. This can be attributed to the eradication treatment of H pylori conducted actively after the first periodic examination, and the recurrence of active gastro-duodenal ulcer was also prevented significantly. Moreover, the eradication might be effective in preventing gastric carcinogenesis in the future, although its pathogenesis is still not fully understood. |
