| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は、絵本を使用したオリエンテーションの実施が、幼児の手術に関する母親の理解や、幼児との関わりにどのように影響するのかを明らかにすることである。総合病院の小児病棟に手術目的で計画入院した幼児10名とその母親10名を対象とし、絵本によるオリエンテーションを行い、質問紙調査、参加観察法により得られたデータを質的に分析した。分析の結果、以下のことが示された。(1)手術を受ける幼児の母親は、絵本を見ることで幼児の手術について具体的なイメージを持つことができていた。(2)オリエンテーション中から後の母親の幼児への関わりは、母親が研究者の説明を「幼児に合った言葉で補足する」「これから体験することについて話をする・励ます」であった。(3)母親は絵本で得た知識を基に「幼児をおだてる・行動を促す」という行動をとっていた。(4)母親の幼児の体験に対する関わりには、研究者の作成した絵本が活用されていた。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to determine what kind of effect surgery orientation using a picture book has on mothers in understanding their children's surgery. The subjects were 10 preschool children who were hospitalized for an operation in the children's ward of a general hospital and their mothers. They all received surgery orientation which used a picture book. We obtained data through a questionnaire survey and participant observation. The mothers were able to obtain concrete ideas of their children's surgery by watching the picture book. During and after the orientation, the mothers explained the surgical procedure to their children in a language the preschool children could understand, encouraged and praised them for their bravery for undergoing the surgery. Also, the mothers used the picture book effectively in dealing with the preschool children. | |||||||||||
