近年、SARS(重症急性呼吸器症候群)を代表とする新興感染症や多剤耐性菌の流行により、医療施設における感染制御は、地域で連携して取り組まなければならない重要課題となっている。しかしながら、本邦においては、地域連携の体制は十分に整備されていない。2005年3月、地域における感染管理の質向上を目的に、宮城県内病院の感染管理担当看護師が情報の共有や学習をしながら、専門家の助言を受けて活動する宮城ICN (Infection Control Nurses)ネットワークを立ち上げるに至った。1年間にわたる立上げまでの準備とネットワークの活動状況を報告し、今後の課題について考察する。 |

Recently, we have been exposed to newly emerging infections, such as SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), and antimicrobial resistant bacteria. Therefore regional networks are essential for infection control in medical facilities. However, few regional networks exist in Japan. So, in March 2005, we established a network of infection control nurses in Miyagi prefecture in order to improve infection control. The infection control nurses in Miyagi prefecture who are members of the network are sharing information, training together and giving and receiving professional advice. We report here about one year preparation for establishing the network and the current activity of the network. In addition, we consider matters for future our activities. |
