| 内容記述 | This study discusses the implementation system of the Local Vitalization Cooperator project called “Good Movement” that is taking place in Rifu, Miyagi Prefecture. In Japan, the declining population, declining birthrate, and aging population as well as the concentration of people in metropolitan areas are perceived as issues. The “Local Vitalization Cooperator” system is spreading as one possible solution to these issues under the present circumstances. One assumed career path for Local Vitalization Cooperator is to start a business to “permanently settle and become established,” which is the project aim. With regard to careers after the end of a term of office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has developed a set of support measures for cooperators who wish to start their own businesses. In Rifu, the “Good Movement” was launched in September 2023 with the aim of creating a lively community. The trustees created a limited company. As of the end of May 2024, a total of 14 cooperators are working on six projects. More specifically, the six projects are “Agricultural Support, “Events,” “Branding,” “Saunas,” “Sports,” and “Good Sleep Town.” Moreover, the “Good Movement” provides opportunities for regular communication among business stakeholders, such as regular meetings, group trainings, and individual interviews, centered on creating a limited company. Furthermore, a system exists for each project to receive advise from experts with specialized knowledge and know-how in their respective fields. Through these mechanisms, a support system has been established for the cooperators’ project conceptualization process. |
