M大学2年次生96名を対象に、"静脈血採血"演習における学生の不安と演習授業の学習方法(事前学習、デモンストレーション、シミュレーターによる練習、教員が採血に立ち会ったこと)ならびに教員の言動との関連について検討した。データ収集には自作のアンケート調査票を用いた。不安内容の項目は金子らの不安内容分類を一部改変して作成した。結果は、(1)静脈血採血(これ以降採血と略す)演習直前の不安測定において、『やや強い不安』を示し、最も高い不安項目は[相手に痛みや不安を与えることについての不安]であった。(2)シミュレーターを使った「注射法」の演習で、静脈内に針の刺入がうまくいった学生は、採血の演習直前においても[血管に針をうまく刺入できるか不安]の項目が有意に低い結果を示した。(3)不安の解消に最も役だった学習方法は、【教員が(採血に)立ち会ったこと】であった。(4)教員の言動のうち、『励まし・支持・声かけ・タッチなどの精神的なサポート』や『具体的な動作の指示・フォロー』、『やさしい・落ち着いた態度』が、不安の解消に有効であった。 |

We investigated three variables for possible correlations: (1) nursing students' anxiety during blood sampling training, (2) training methods ("preparatory self-study," "demonstration by the instructor," "simulation training," and "supervised practice" ), and (3) the instructor's behavior during the training. Pre- and post-training data were collected by administering questionnaires of our own design to the trainees. The survey results were as follows: (1) Before the blood sampling training, students were in a somewhat high state of anxiety. The greatest degree of anxiety was for "the fear of causing pain or anxiety to the patient." (2) Immediately before the blood sampling training, the level of "anxiety about whether they can insert the needle into the vein without a problem" was found to be significantly lower among the students who succeeded in the simulation training in intravenous injection than those who did not. (3) "Supervision by the instructor" was the most effective method for reducing students' anxiety during blood sampling training. (4) Also helpful in alleviating anxiety was the instructor's behavior during the training, such as "verbal encouragement, touching, and other forms of mental support," "providing specific instructions and making sure that the trainees followed them correctly," and "the instructor's gentle and calm attitude." |
