| 内容記述 | While the number of Japanese-style hotels, ryokan, continues to decline, the pace of the decrease was accelerated after the collapse of the Bubble economy. The paper presents a case study on the revitalization of a ryokan that succeeded in renovating its facilities, scaling down its business, and providing new service. The key to success is the ability to make a business plan that cost-effectively meets the needs of customers, the flexibility to rearrange the rooms in the ryokan, and the discernment and fund-raising ability of the management. | |||||||||||
