| 内容記述 | This study conducted interviews with nurses to clarify the actual content and intention of nursing practice to remove physical restraints for nurses working in acute-care hospital wards. The analysis generated 14 categories, 50 subcategories, and 170 codes related to the actual content and intention of nursing practice. The results suggest that organizations should intentionally involve ward nurses in ethical practices to promote the abolition of physical restraints by utilizing their roles and wealth of clinical experience and influence, and to strengthen and promote the removal of physical restraints in the organization as a whole. It is also important to encourage mutual support from multiple professions. In practice, such efforts increase the motivation of ward nurses and contribute to the development of a hospital-wide culture of mutual support. The results of the study also highlight the need to enhance the autonomy of nurses and practice professional collaboration on an equal footing, wherein the multidisciplinary professions mutually understand and respect each other. | |||||||||||||||||
