| 内容記述 | Nursing students must understand patients comprehensively by integrating individual patient information instead of understanding patient information in fragments. This is crucial for practicing optimal and individualized nursing care tailored to the patient's condition during clinical practicums. Consequently, we clarified how nursing students comprehensively understand patients in clinical practicums to find an effective teaching method that enables them to consider individualized nursing care. Nursing students' comprehensive understanding of patients in clinical practicums involves six phases: understanding the patient within the framework of what they have already learned, understanding the patient with awareness of their needs, values, and self-care abilities; reflecting for understanding the patient, obtaining support for understanding the patient, integrating individual patient information to comprehensively understand them, and planning and implementing optimal individualized nursing care for the patient. The six phases ultimately led to personal growth as a nurse. For nursing students to professionally grow in clinical practicums, it is essential to reflect on patient understanding. This requires support from faculty members and clinical practicum supervisors. |
