 note = {This paper reports the results of a survey on the attitudes and behaviors of Miyagi University faculty members regarding academic information, especially open access and open data, as a case study of a public university in Japan. The survey was conducted from December 2022 to February 2023 for Miyagi University faculty using an online questionnaire survey tool. 
As a result, faculties have a high level of interest in trends in open access and the issue of soaring prices for academic journals, and at the same time, it was shown that open access journals are expected to become the main venue for faculties to publish their own results in the future. On the other hand, it was also shown that faculties do not know the details of the conditions and options for issues related to academic information, and that they are anxious about open-data even though they have the intention to deal with it.},
