The respondents were divided into two groups: students who demonstrated their practice of certain skills and those who did not. Some of our findings are as follows. In the demonstrated practice of glycerin enema and temporal urethral catheterization, students in the demo group spent more time on reviewing anatomy and physiology and practiced their skills more than those in the non-demo group. The student practice demonstrations were viewed favorably by 92% of the demo group and 77% of the non-demo group. Students in the demo group thought the demonstrations helped them in four categories, including 'mastery of skills' and 'enhancement of motivation to learn', while they pointed out as the liabilities of the demo practice four items including 'difficulty in adjusting the schedule' and 'different levels of learning'. Respondents in the non-demo group, on the other hand, liked the demonstrations in five categories including 'enhancement of motivation to learn' and 'development of empathy', but they viewed the practice negatively in terms of three items such as 'burden of conducting demonstrations' and 'different levels of
