This program estimates both the dietary reference intakes and the nutrients intake from each meal served, as well as daily totals. Nutrient intake values of each meal and a daily total are compared with the dietary reference to estimate the nutrients values of meals. Furthermore, this program computes the amounts of food needed and the estimated incurring costs of food purchased. To facilitate userfriendly computer input of foods, the mouse-click method has been added to the conventional input for each food code.
